UGC (User-Generated Content)
In one sentence
Content created and shared voluntarily by everyday users, including reviews, unboxings, user experiences, and Q&A replies.
UGC comes from real users and carries high credibility; it is also a key input AI engines use to evaluate brand reputation.
Brands can encourage customers to share by offering user guides or running review incentives, but must never fake customer feedback.
Example
A customer posts a note on Xiaohongshu about using a specific brand of flooring during their renovation, and the comments fill up with requests for the product link.
