Landing page
In one sentence
The page users land on after clicking an ad or link, purpose-built for a single conversion goal, such as booking an appointment, signing up, downloading, or purchasing.
A good landing page focuses on one clear message: who the user is, the problem they face, how you solve it, why you are credible, and what step to take next.
Buttons and forms on the page should be prominent, with as few form fields as possible.
Example
The page linked from a course ad clearly presents the course content, instructors, schedule, location, and a sign-up button—without distractions.
