Vibe CodingAI Terminology

In one sentence

Instead of writing code yourself, you chat with an AI to have it write code, guiding it step-by-step through development and deployment.

The user defines the requirements, reviews the output, and requests changes, while the AI writes the code and runs commands. Even non-technical business teams can build internal tools and web pages this way.

Before going live, security checks are still essential: verify that API keys are not hardcoded, data access permissions are in place, and potential errors will not disrupt live business operations.

Example

An operations specialist tells the AI, 'Build a web page where uploading an Excel file automatically tallies leads by channel and displays a bar chart.' The AI writes the code and runs it locally.
